Company Overview
Q-Cal is an accomplished calibration laboratory providing instrumentation calibration and repair services for test and process equipment users in Qatar. All activities are controlled by ISO 9001:2000 Quality Standards.
All calibrations take place in an environmentally controlled and monitored laboratory and are fully traceable to National standards in the UK. The laboratory also utilises custom written software to allow the handling, tracking and recall of all items received for calibration.
The laboratory has the capability to provide electrical, pressure, temperature, mass and torque calibration and repair facilities. These facilities are entirely portable and this was demonstrated in recent years when the calibration of the majority of the test equipment held at QatarGas and RasGas was completed and the service can be extended to offshore platforms, as was done for RasGas and Maersk Oil Qatar.
Q-Cal has added a rental service, as an extension of the calibration and repair services. A range of field instruments are available for short and long term hire mainly for clients in commissioning and acceptance testing of process plants and associated instrumentation where the requirement is only for a short duration.
