Qatar Academy is a private, non-profit organization offering quality education for boys and girls from pre-school to university entrance. The Academy was founded in 1996 under the auspices of the Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development. Comprising of a Primary School and Senior School, it occupies a magnificent campus on the outskirts of Doha.

The Academy serves students from age 3 to 18 offering an international curriculum that incorporates Arabic culture, combined with the traditional values and the most modern trends in education.  We have a team of highly experienced teachers and administrators joining us from Europe, the United States, Australasia and the Middle East working with over 1300 students of 45 nationalities.

We are an International Baccalaureate World School - the only one in Qatar. Qatar Academy is fully authorized to offer the I BO's three programs: Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme and the Diploma Programme.

Qatar Academy is fully accredited by the U.S.-based New England Association of Schools and Colleges, and the Europe-based Council of International Schools.
