The Education City branch campus of Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service in Qatar (GUSFS-Q) welcomed its first class of students in August 2005 and is successfully delivering the same structure and demanding course load as that of its parent organisation in Washington DC.Young men and women are educated for leadership roles in the international arena in keeping with the long tradition of the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service and its history of study and scholarship in the Middle East.
Established by Georgetown University and Qatar Foundation, GUSFS-Q offers a four year programme of studies leading to a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service (BSFS).
